Arla Foods collects raw milk from some 1,600 AFMP farms nationwide and delivers to Arla Foods dairies across the UK.
Arla Foods distribution has over 90 bulk farm collection vehicles ranging from 16,000 litre tankers to 30,000 litre tankers which collect milk from farms every day or every other day. | |

Effective routing, planning and 24 hour collection is integral to cost effective working and the distribution team works hard planning routes to collect the optimum amount of milk in the minimal miles possible.
The company has also been instrumental in establishing a number of joint collection and distribution initiatives with other companies in order to maximise efficiency and reduce unnecessary milk collection traffic.
Every Arla Foods driver is trained to the highest standard in vehicle handling and milk collection procedures before they collect member's milk from the farm. |
