Arla Foods Milk Partnership (AFMP) works closely with Arla Foods UK plc, the UK's leading dairy company, and supplies around 85% of its raw milk requirement. It is a true partnership with Arla Foods owning 50% of the Partnership which provides members with the security of premium price above the average of the three co-operatives and security of supply to the premium liquid milk market.
Arla has a turnover in excess of £1.3 billion and processes over 2.2 billion litres of milk a year for the major retailers. The company enjoys a 35 per cent share of the British fresh milk market and is focused on developing strong working relationships with its customers and makes over 2,200 daily deliveries direct to stores. |
AFMP's processing partner is the only dairy company that offers full UK penetration through its network of strategically placed dairies and distribution centres, as demonstrated on the map opposite.
Arla Foods brands can be found across the dairy category. It is the market leader in milk and cream as well as the leader in the butter, spreads and margarine sector, and a major supplier of other added value | |

Since its launch in 2001, Cravendale is now the number one milk brand in the UK. The Cravendale range has been extended driven by Arla's commitment to its new product development agenda. |
The additions to the range include Cravendale Hint Of with a subtle essence of either vanilla or strawberry and Cravendale 284ml, a ready to drink pack, which gives consumers the chance to enjoy fresh milk in a convenient bottle size whilst on the move.
Launched at the start of 2006 Lactofree is another emerging milk brand from Arla's portfolio. Lactofree is the first product of its kind, containing less than 0.05% lactose. It gives people who suffer from lactose intolerance the opportunity to enjoy drinking milk. Lactofree is available in fresh and long-life variants at major retailers.
